Aaron Massey

Aaron Massey is a PhD candidate in the Computer Science department at North Carolina State University and a member of ThePrivacyPlace.org. His research interests include computer security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and managing legal requirements in software engineering. As a recipient of a 2008 Google Policy Fellowship, Aaron spent the summer of 2008 working with Jim Harper, Directory of Information Policy Studies at the Cato Institute. He is also the recipient of the 2008-2009 Walter H. Wilkinson Graduate Research Ethics Fellowship. Aaron earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Purdue University in 2003 and a MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 2009. He is a student member of the Association of Computing Machinery, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and International Association of Privacy Professionals. He is also a member of the USACM Public Policy committee. Aaron is originally from Noblesville, IN.
