Professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Recreation at Northern Arizona University. Founding editor of Tourism Geographies and member of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism,  International tourism scholar, mostly working in East and Southeast Asia.  Author and editor of many books, scholarly articles, blogs, podcasts, and tweets.  Regularly teaches tourism geography, world geography, introduction to urban planning, planning analysis and social media, and land use law.
