As a teen, I was an activities director in the Catskill Mountains (i.e. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze). My dad was a magician & I grew up @ hotels working as a activities staff member & was the activities director by 17. I moved to SF & sent myself thru school doing balloons & magic @ Fisherman's Wharf.

I found company picnics used magicians & balloon sculptors & needed an activities director, so I created a picnic games package, "The OlymPicnic Games” designed to provide families with a unique & fun interactive experience.

Meanwhile, I began booking myself and other act @ county & state fairs. I brought the resources from fair associations to company corporate events. In '85, I began supplying rides & entire carnivals for IBM & others. I created carnival & casino games, acquired inflatable games (www.alansands.net/splat & www.alansands.net/casino) & was the resource for shows, field games, fun foods, eccentric musical acts, variety acts, ethnic entertainment, rides, carnival games, animal attractions like exotic animal petting zoos & pony, elephant & camel rides ... you get the idea...

I've produced picnics for hundreds of companies & repeated clients up to 17 years incl. Lockheed-Martin, Fireman's Fund Insurance, United Technologies ... more. Once I supplied elephants, camels & carnival rides to 55 stores in five states on the same weekend and I designed & produced custom circus shows for a # of Oracle's Annual Picnics.

However, I do more than picnics. For the past 15 yr's I've touring nationally doing my comedy hypnosis shows @ High School Grad Night parties, County Fairs, Colleges & Corp. parties. I have done two cruise ships, performed in 46 states, across Canada & in five other countries.

I do my prop comedy magic show, I have invested in quality, popular inflatable games, casino & carnival games, own professional sound equipment & collect aluminum can pop tops.

I'm an entertainment "Service Provider." My attitude is: I'm at every event to make that event FUN, I give more than I'm asked & strive to exceed expectations.
