In 2023 Dr. Albert Ze was recognized in the politics and governance list of the MIPAD100 under 40. In support of the International Decade for People of African Descent, proclaimed by United Nation's General Assembly resolution 68/237 and to be observed from 2015 to 2024, the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) identifies high achievers of African descent in public and private sectors from all around the world as a progressive network of relevant actors to join together in the spirit of recognition, justice and development of Africa, it's people on the continent and across it's Diaspora.

Albert ZE has a PhD in Mathematical Economics specializing in Health Economics. For his work, he was decorated Knight of the Order of Valor on an exceptional basis by the President of the Republic of Cameroon; and elected best African researcher 2019 and 2022 in Health Economics as part of the African Super Prize for Excellence. In addition, he received, in 2021, the special grand prize for merit and professional competence awarded by press actors for the promotion of excellence and sustainable development in Cameroon. On February 10, 2022, the Government Daily “Cameroon Tribune” ranked him among the most influential young people in Cameroon. In December 2022, the magazine “Réussites du pays” ranked him among the 35 influential young people under the age of 35 in Cameroon. It appears that Dr. Albert ZE is the only health economist in Cameroon who actively campaigns for the improvement of health in the country.

In the professional context, he is

1) an expert at the Cameroon Policies Analysis and Research Center (CAMERCAP-PARC) which is a Think Tank under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Planning and Territory Development;

2) Director of Social Benefits at the MUSAAC project;

3) Professor at the University of Douala and

4) Founder of the Research Institute for Health and Development (IRESADE). In addition, he was a consultant at the World Bank in 2016 and Senior Health Economist at the Pasteur Center in Cameroon.

His research essentially aims to improve the health of populations in Africa through the establishment of health systems adapted to the socio-economic and cultural environment of the continent.
