Alease is the author of the best-selling book: Greatness is in the Comeback: 12 Action Steps in Discovering Ways to Reinvent Yourself, She is also the creator of a popular blog for creative entrepreneurs called the School of Creative Business and the owner of Alease Michelle Studios, LLC, a branding and design company for small business owners.
Alease holds a B.A. in Art Studio/Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina, an M.A. in Visual Arts from Goddard College, and has enrolled in a doctoral program at Argosy University in Instructional Leadership. She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., York County Arts and Science Council, Rock Hill Toastmasters International, Association of Stragatic Marketing and the Association of Professional Women.
As an expert, Alease lends knowledge to the press, editorials, and serves as a subject-matter expert. She is a sought-after presenter on the topics of creative marketing and management, personal image and branding, and fashion related topics. As a creative entrepreneur, her adventurous spirit has led to fashion show production, wardrobe consulting, and visual merchandising. She is now serving as Creative Director for Flow, by Tara Davis.
She serves as an Associate Professor The Art Institute of Charlotte, and teaches a wide range of courses in Fashion Marketing and Management. She serves on several committees and organizations, and works to improve curriculum and processes that have produced quantifiable results.
