Aleia Walker

Web Developer and Designer in Atlanta, Georgia

Since I can remember, my face has been buried in a book. That book developed into a notepad filled with scribbled lists. Eventually those books turned into a screen that I use to develop and share projects I am working on. Busy is my favorite mode while efficiency and quality are my favorite goals.

I started writing professional seven years ago as an in-house communications specialist at a construction firm. I also worked as an editor and office manager for a Latin American and Caribbean think tank in Washington, D.C. Currently I am a content creator writing web copy and marketing materials for a variety of developing businesses including a D.C. based nonprofit, Jamaican restaurant and a church community center.

I am always seeking to support my talents with useful skills and began learning web design and development to make myself more marketable. I ended up falling in love with the process and have found it as a perfect addition to my resume and will continue to develop skills in this area.
