Aleksandr Mychal Hemingway (born March 29, 1991) is an American author and journalist.
Hemingway was raised in Riverview, Florida. After high shcool, he worked as a freelance writer for The Tuskegee News, and as a sports and entertainment contributor for his college campus' newspaper, The Campus Digest. He attended Tuskegee University, where he recieved his B.A. in English at the College of Arts and Sciences. In 2010, he published two articles, focusing on the economical state of Tuskegee and the election of the university's interim president. The themes addressed in these articles would later form the basis of his novel As the Stars Set Beneath the Horizon.
