Alene Tan

Alene Tan (pronounced: Ay-Lean) is a quarter-Peranakan, born and raised in sunny Singapore. Since moving back from Melbourne after attaining a Bachelor of Communication (Professional Communication) degree, and Honours in Film & TV, she has continued to work on video productions and is now a young padawan in Lucasfilm Singapore.

An unashamed film and Disney geek, Alene probably makes too many movie references and punny remarks in daily conversation. A humble baker and closet writer, she lives by a good breakfast, some good reads, and plenty of coffee paired with long chats.

Alene aspires to continue to be a part of filmmaking and storytelling for the rest of her life, and her next dream is to travel the world and bring the love of Jesus to whoever needs it.
