Hi, I'm Alexander and I work as a Service Designer for Me & Company. My ambition is to create products and services people will love.

I'm involved in design projects for national and international clients from various areas. Recent assignments included electrical engineering, utilities, publishing, finance and chemical industry.

Initially trained in communication design at Bergische Universität Wuppertal and AKD Düsseldorf (now relocated to Cologne), I joined Me & Company in 2012 as the first full-time employee and soon shifted my focus towards a holistic design approach. I'm familiar with most forms of human-centered design including Design Thinking, Systems Oriented Design and Lean UX.

I'm also an advocate for intrapreneurship, sustainable corporate culture and lifelong learning. In private life, I support the so called Third Wave Coffee movement. In my opinion it is a great blueprint for how common interest in quality and sustainability can result in improvements at all stages of production as much as in stronger relationships between and better conditions for all stakeholders involved.
