Alexandria Williams is a Dallas native and a graduate of the Episcopal School of Dallas. She holds two Bachelor degrees from Texas Tech University. Additional she has obtained certifications in Sports Nutrition, RRCA Running Coach, Google Analytics and recently Social Media & Digital Communication from Southwern Methodist University.

By day, Alexandria is a Media Relations Manager where she is a go-to resource for travel media worldwide. By night and phone, she is the Co-Founder of Sporty Afros.com. Additional she sits on the board of several national organizations.

Communicator. With over a decade of communication experience, Alexandria understands marketing in multiple areas from internal communications, tradeshows, proposals and Public Relations. She has worked in a multitude of sectors such as education, travel and foodservice. She is adept with building close connection among consumers, journalist and businesses; while creating a unique voice for the company. Sporty Afros has been featured in countless media outlets such as Essence, Fox Sports, BuzzFeed and Black America. The site also created the first hair care line formulated for women who live an active lifestyle.

Foodie. Triathlete. Alexandria has completed multiple multisport events and holds a sports nutritionist certification. She is also a certificated RRCA running coach. As a lover of food, Alexandria is skilled at answering complex nutritional issue with simple solutions with food.
