Before recently, I mostly worked for large multinationals on their BLOBAs (boring line of business applications). May be I thought that .NET platform as such is only suitable for that kind of stuff.

However, after some interesting twists, I landed in a small software shop at the south east of Norway and this made me rethink what I was doing before. It appeared that with recent raise of OSS on .NET, I see things getting much better in general. That many people that I met before, that were calling themselves "senior developers" or "architects" knew very little of what is going on in the industry around the globe and, to be honest, I was one of them.

Now, I got much more interest in the technology, software architecture and coding that ever before. I feel, that during the last three years I learned as much as I learned since the start of my software engineering career (and this was really long ago, believe me).

I am interested in DDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing, messaging, APIs, functional programming, web development and cross-platform applications.
