Hello! I am Alexis I serve as a Graduate Assistant in the Undergraduate Advising Center at The University of Kansas. I am a First year student in the Higher Education Administration Graduate Program.

I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2016 with a major in African and African American Studies and a minor in Women and Gender Sexuality Studies. It is my hope to complete my masters degree in the Spring 2018.

I love my University and I am a proud alumna. I am knowledgeable about the different clubs that KU has to offer because I have been apart of a lot of them. I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., I transitioned from my Undergrad Chapter, Omega Theta into the Graduate Chapter.

I am a really big Drake fan and I own all his albums. Take care is my favorite, but I am really enjoying Views :) My favorite color is pink and of course Royal Blue and White (my sorority colors)! I love sunflowers and pink roses.

I believe in academic success and that is what we are here to do! I enjoy meeting students at the University and love making connections that I did not even know could be made. I am easy going, and most importantly I am understanding! I enjoy hearing everyone's story, and I would love to hear yours! Stop by our office anytime!
