Hello! I am the founder + ceo of fyi.io, a startup dedicated to simplifying how we create, publish and discover tutorials tailored to our unique learning preferences.

I specialize in transforming long, complicated (and sometimes boring) processes into tutorials so simple that my grandparents could follow along. No offense to them, of course, but the goal is to create content for people regardless of their age or skill level. Being personable, thorough and efficient goes a long way.

I'm an active part of the growing startup ecosystem here in Omaha. I co-organize a weekly event called 1 Million Cups that brings entrepreneurs together for networking, coffee and a presentation from a local startup. I believe in giving back to the community before asking for its help. In doing so I've met incredible founders, mentors and community leaders.

3D printing is a wonderful hobby of mine. I'm always building, tinkering or thinking about what to build next. The maker movement -- and its vibrant community -- offer so many ways to grow, learn and try something new. Being able to play with what you create is a fun bonus, too.

If I'm not in the office or with family, you'll probably find me cheering on my Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers.
