Alex Rudloff is a technologist with a strong entrepreneurial bent. He was the CEO and Co-Founder of Emurse.com (acquired by AOL in March 2008), Twitterholic.com (acquired in 2010 by The Next Web) and Atqui.com (Closed in 2004 -- they can't all be winners). Way back in the day, he started a for-profit BBS with his brother and a few friends that morphed into a full service ISP and web design agency (BA Technologies / Online Illusions, 1994-1999)

He was also one of the first employees at Blogsmith (acquired by AOL in 2005), the lead developer for Netscape.com, the General Manager of AOL Shopping and the Vice President of Product for AOL's Publishing Technologies. He currently works for TED Conferences leading digital strategy for the TEDx global community.

A 6th generation Floridian, Alex resides in Satellite Beach, Fl with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, he serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Haven For Children, a group foster home for abused and neglected children. He likes sports, traveling and eating perogies. Not necessarily in that order.
