Alfredo Vazquez

Raised in Del Rio, Texas, Dr. Alfredo J. Vazquez relocated to College Station to enroll at Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2002. While a student at Texas A&M, Alfredo Vazquez accrued early experience treating athletic injuries and medical complaints. He also accepted an internship in cardiac rehabilitation at the San Antonio Medical Center. After finishing his undergraduate training, Alfredo Vazquez gained work experience as an Exercise Physiologist for a rehab clinic and cardiology lab. Alfredo Vazquez continued his professional training at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, where he enjoyed clinical rotations with some of the best physicians in the Houston area, in such disciplines as physical rehabilitation, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and pediatrics, along with chiropractic medicine. In 2006, Alfredo Vazquez earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and received academic recognition on the Dean’s list. He also sought post-graduate instruction in the form of clinical training in acupuncture, eventually gaining certification in that specialty as well. Dr. Alfredo J. Vazquez has served as owner and Treating Doctor at the Texas Spine and Sports Rehab Clinic as owner since 2007, and as a partner at the Spa and Wellness Center at South Shore since 2008.
