A programmer turned business strategist, Ali Mahmoud has been through $4.6B in private and public technology acquisitions. His driven work ethic started at age six folding pizza boxes for 5 cents a piece in his uncle's restaurant, having to be told to stop after filling the room with boxes. Ali studied computer science and joined a startup where he quickly became a development team lead. After 5 years of wearing many hats he settled into key account sales for EMEA and APAC selling large scale systems to airport executives and set the company sales record of $1.4M in a single quarter.
His love of technology and the SaaS business model drove him to move on to March Networks where he took the SaaS product portfolio and in two years grew revenues 400% and helped generate a $50M software & hardware sales funnel. At SolarWinds he saw 10x growth in the marketing & sales funnel and in his current role he is Vice President of Product and Customer Success at Augmentt Technologies solving Cloud & SaaS Security challenges in the IT Channel.
