After 18 years in higher education, I'm now building a career as a content strategist for Findlaw, a business of Thomson Reuters. As a content strategist, I help businesses communicate online with their clients.

I haven't abandoned my scholarly roots, however. My membership in the technical and professional communication industry encourages me to continue to research and write about online communication, user experience, and digital culture. I am on the editorial board of Communication Design Quarterly and an active member of SIGDOC, the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on the Design of Communication.
