Amancio Bouza is Senior Consultant at IPT, a Swiss IT company famous for integration of innovative and disruptive technologies. Currently, he's the technical lead of the EAI API squad a large Swiss telecom provider scaling innovation and agile development. Formerly, he founded a technology startup company together with the University of Zurich that combines crowd-sourcing and big data to democratize information. Before, he worked at AdNovum on smart knowledge management systems and banking information systems. Prior to that, he conducted research in the field of collaborative recommender systems at the University of Zurich. In this period, he invented new methods related to machine learning to identify like-minded people. Bouza was awarded a Doctor of Sciences from the University of Zurich in 2012 and has a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Zurich.
