Hi, I'm Amanda!

I work with nonprofits, tech startups, and other fantastic organisations on content strategy, rad digital marketing campaigns, engaging community management, copywriting + a bunch more!

A tech-savvy and empathetic communicator, my strengths lie at the intersection of community building, content and user experience. I originally studied sociology and then interactive design in Canada before moving to London in 2011 and cutting my teeth contracting with social enterprises like School For Startups, entertainment brands like Channel 4 UK, tech startups like TechHub and Gogobot, education companies like GetKahoot.com, and also on the core social media team at Government Digital Service, part of the UK cabinet office.

I've got a thing for working with people who want to change the world for the better, 'tech for good' projects, small dogs and ben & jerry's cookie dough ice cream. I also *really* love when I brew my morning coffee to exactly the right flavour - (it's a science!).

I'm currently a part-time associate at a small but perfectly formed agency called Montfort.io, working with amazing clients like Amnesty International UK & the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment. The rest of the week I freelance with various clients on cause-focused projects, and I'd love to have a chat with you!
