Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio recently joined Ramel International Group in Accra, Ghana, as Managing Director. The company specialises in conferences and event management. In this capacity, Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio takes responsibility for daily operations of the company and its subsidiaries; provides conference management consulting services and tour packages to global clients; and ensures all hotel accommodations for the tour participants. In addition, Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio facilitates vehicle rentals and interpreters for clients. His responsibilities include insuring that Ramel International’s conferences run smoothly and maintain excellent organization. He makes certain that staffers are able to handle any issues that may arise. A trusted event planning company for national and international conferences, Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio’s Ramel International has organized events for former President Bill Clinton, former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, and Queen Elizabeth II. Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio enrolled in Davidson College in North Carolina in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He distinguished himself by winning a merit scholarship from the Government of Ghana in 1999. In addition, Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio received the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards for his volunteer efforts, physical prowess, social skills, and completion of a travel expedition. Amartey Nuno-Amarteifio also served as a Financial Analyst Intern at The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, committing 20 hours a week to the position while carrying a full load of courses. During the internship, he explored new business opportunities for the company and set planning recommendations for its financial representatives.
