I direct the Buildings Program at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) to increase energy efficiency and decarbonize buildings and homes through policies and codes at the federal, state, and local levels. I promote best practices to enhance equity and affordability in the commercial, multifamily, and residential sectors.

My goal is to find solutions that connect energy, GHG reductions, and sustainability to make buildings more comfortable and healthier. As a result, I author articles and guides and present on energy efficiency and decarbonization for buildings.

My background in engineering includes experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, codes and standards, construction, and research and development.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking without recipes, scuba diving, and traveling where there is no 4G.
