Amber Foster

Writer, Editor, and Mother in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Friends and colleagues describe me as an effervescent, passionate, community-minded connector. I have developed a strong personal brand via social media and blogging and use that brand to leverage non-profit and compelling community news. Over the course of my career, I have been responsible for creating the marketing and communication strategies for multiple organizations, including Business People magazine, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, PUNCH Films, Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana, Anthony Wayne Rotary, and The Ginger Kitchen.

Because of my experience, I am a respected marketing and social media resource, speaking at local and regional conferences and contributing to the Paul Clarke Nonprofit Resource Center’s blog via my Marketing Minute column. I am also a skilled writer, contributing to a variety of local publications and websites, including whatzup, Glo, Northeast Indiana Public Radio, Business People Magazine, and Visit Fort Wayne’s Insider blog.

In my spare time, I like to spend time in the kitchen cooking for my family. I blog about my adventures in the kitchen at AGingerInTheKitchen.com
