My name is Amy. I’m a creative communications professional with experience helping startups and small companies to develop their audience and define their brand. Most recently, I owned PR & Marketing for The Grommet, an online retail platform for independent makers and entrepreneurs. Prior to The Grommet, I led marketing for an ed-tech startup called Abroad101, helping them to grow their community and increase sales and retention.

Before I landed in the startup world, I thought a PR agency was my calling. Working for LEWIS PR and Weber Shandwick were both great experiences and really helped me get in on the ground floor, but helping to build a company from the ground-up is where it's at!

I believe that strong, engaging content is the key to a loyal following and the right mix of PR & Marketing can influence culture and benefit society.

Some of my favorite things in life include traveling, experiencing new places and meeting new people. I find this fuels me with perspective and ideas for my life and work.
