Hi! I'm Amy and besides being a supportive and loving wife to a med school student, and mom to pit-bull Denson, bull mastiff Jed, cat Chloe and quarter horse Moe, I love the MSU Spartans, travel, bourbon, living in Michigan (which means skiing-downhill, cross country and water, boating, hiking, etc.), Opera, Dance, and all things fashion.
In my spare time, I work for two really great non-profits in Detroit. Bizdom is an entrepreneurship accelerator, founded by Dan Gilbert (Quicken Loans, Cleveland Cavaliers, etc.) and we are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs launch innovative, tech-based businesses in the City. We have really cool entrepreneurs, mentors, and opportunities and we are creating an exciting and vibrant business hub in Detroit. Camp Casey is a horseback-riding program for kids with cancer and their families. I run our Horsey House Call program, which means we bring our horse to the doorstep of children battling cancer and give them a fun afternoon of horseback riding, grooming, and crafts all in their own back yard, with all of their friends and family. We also take families on overnight dude ranch vacations, and other various horse related adventures. Check out our website to learn more or get involved.
