Amy Graff

Amy Graff is on staff at the San Francisco Chronicle, where she writes a daily online parenting news column called The Mommy Files. Her column receives some 3 million page views a month on SFGate, and it runs on Hearst News sites all over the country, reaching millions more. She also writes for BabyCenter, the No. 1 resource for pregnant women and new parents. And for the past four years, Amy has helped motivate families to travel as a spokesperson for Best Western Hotels.

Passionate about global health issues, Amy traveled to Kenya and Ghana with the advocacy group ONE to increase awareness about the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease in Africa. She's also helping to spread the word about the United Nations Foundation's Shot@Life campaign.

Amy has been quoted in publications from Everyday with Rachel Ray to The Wall Street Journal and she has been a guest on dozens of radio and TV shows nationwide from Forum (NPR) to Katie to Good Morning America (ABC). Her writing also appears in the Huffington Post.

Amy received a bachelor's degree in English literature from UC Berkeley. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two kids.
