I've been seriously writing for about 20 years, starting with a guitar & writing songs to get through the cold winter nights in North Dakota.
We all have our personal journeys to share, and I feel our hearts know how much, when, and even if we decide to share. I know how much reading about other experiences have helped me, and hopefully somehow I can put even if only a spot of warmth into someone's life.
Since I first wrote this I lost a son . . . Oct 14, 2014. I've lost and I've grieved before, but until I lost my precious son, I never knew what it felt like to have my soul ripped from my body and torn to shreds.
