Andrea is a multi-disciplinary organizer, educator, and media producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Formally trained as a video/filmmaker, her commissions have allowed her to work on collaborative community driven projects in San Diego, Tijuana, New York, Philadelphia, and the American Samoa.

As an educator, Andrea has served as a fifth year undergraduate thesis juror and teaching assistant at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design. She has taught at Media Arts Center San Diego and led multimedia courses at High Tech High North County. Through her varied experiences teaching youth and college level courses she helped to initiate the now annual Summer Urban Labs at The Periscope Project.

Interested in informal economies and small business development, Andrea has managed vendor relations for alternative spaces and festivals.

Currently, she teaches Food Justice in East Harlem and works with the amazing staff and students of Brooklyn College Community Partnership (BCCP) on unique youth programs and development initiatives.
