Andrea Ocampo

Andrea Ocampo is a writer, editor and Chilean citizen with a degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She is currently a researcher at aesthetics and youths. Popular culture, trends, urban tribes, gender and young art are the topics of her analysis and creations. She has published Noises Caused, New Chilean Urban Tribes (Ed. Planeta, 2009); Patio29: The Imaginary Democracy (Ed. Animita Cartonera, 2007) and Piñata (Ed. Ripio, 2010).
She is also correspondent for Vice Magazine and Work Zone Magazine Spain. She founded the e-zine Indie.cl (2005-2010) and has been part of many publications including El Mercurio Contact Zone, Göoo Magazine Argentina and RS Magazine-SCL.
