Andrea is a visual theorist, an university lecturer, a researcher and Fulbright Alumna.

She is a founder and a programmer of Fresh Eye, Platform for the Development and Promotion of Visual Culture Studies .

She teaches Visual Communication and Research Techniques at Prague College and at Charles University in Prague.

She is a researcher at the Czech National Film Archive and at Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes.

From August 2015 until February 2016, Andrea collaborated with New York University, Department of Media, Culture and Communication and with Pratt Institute, Critical & Visual Studies as Fulbright Visiting Scholar.

Andrea pursues her PhD at Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague. She writes essays, book reviews, presents lectures and conducts a research focused on topics of memory and contemporary visual culture.

Andrea has translated two books into Czech: "Ways of Seeing" by John Berger (2016) and "Picture Theory" by W. J. T. Mitchell (2016). She has published her research work in Routledge (2015) and Springer Publishing House (2016).
