I am a new mom to twin boys born in July of 2012.

I was born and raised outside of Washington, DC, attended the University of Maryland and earned a degree in Business and Logistics. I met my husband while I was in college and we spent 3 years living in California. We have been back in the DC area (Northern Virginia) for the past 3 years and are enjoying life back on the east coast.

I am a dog-lover and have owned big dogs for my entire life. I actively volunteer my time with a German Shepherd rescue group and we currently have a 10-year-old husky and a 7-year-old German Shepherd.

I garden, cook, compost, bake (or try to) and do my best to feed my family wholesome, gluten-free foods,

With two big dogs and 6-month-old twin boys this sometimes feels like a zoo but it's he most fun I've ever had.
