Andrés Romero Castro

My name is Andrés, and I am a business analyst and project manager. But I am also a photographer and have many other interests.

Along the years working in Uruguay and abroad in different sectors and areas of knowledge, I am prepared to work in a multicultural and global scenery. I have an extensive management and analytic experience from a young age.

My main responsibilities have been related to negotiation, business analysis, project management, analysis of documentation, legal advice, administration, startups, communication, NGOs and humanitarian help.

I can offer a wide-ranging experience in different sectors and bold adaptability to a diverse set of industries, a multi-faced perspective to analyze, consider and achieve many solutions, and find answers to many questions.

Some of my strengths are being dynamic, detail oriented, team player, empathetic, creativeand fast learner.

I have made some achievements and obtained results that I am proud of such as (i) Actively participated in the parliamentary discussion of the Data Privacy Law, proposing modifications to the draft that were adopted when the law was approved; (ii)Proposed a legal solution that allowed a company leader in its sector to maintain its aim operations in Uruguay; (iii) Brought effective solutions to Uruguayans stranded overseas as travel restrictions were decided because of the pandemic; including negotiations with Portuguese government to allow Uruguayans and legal resident to make use of a sanitary and human corridor to disembark from a cruise ship to take a flight out of the country.
