I am a writer, editor and freelance media consultant currently living in San Francisco, California. As a journalist for TIME Magazine, I covered Africa, the Balkans, eastern Europe, Turkey and elsewhere in the 1990s and 2000s. Lately I produced media (of all kinds) for the United Nations Refugee Agency from Geneva and Beirut and managed teams of journalists doing the same.
