Andrew MacCormack

Andrew MacCormackis a freelance director, director of photography, editor and loyal member of Hemmings House Pictures. He has directed, shot or edited projects various for organizations including CBC, Discovery HD and The National Film Board of Canada. Andrew has filmed on four continents and has won awards as a director and editor and one accidentally in sound design.
Most recently he he wrote, directed and edited the series "Cubicle to the Cage" in which he received a Gemini nomination. His short film "Here and Away" (PBS USA) won multiple audience awards and played on Air Canada flights worldwide. He also edited the acclaimed documentary "The Man of a Thousands Songs" which preimered at TIFF. He recently edited the feature Kenyan documentary, "Gun Runners" which is being released in 2015.
Andrew is proudly from Prince Edward Island and is now based in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he lives with his wife Julie and son Miles.
