Andrew Sturner

Under the leadership of founder and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Sturner, Aqua Marine Partners, LLC, has become one of the leading marine development firms on the Atlantic Coast. Mr. Sturner's nine marinas, with over 2,500 wet and dry storage slips, offer customers reciprocal access to storage up and down the Eastern Seaboard.

Opened in 2009, Aquamarina Hidden Harbour in Pompano Beach, Florida, represents the degree of quality that Mr. Sturner and Aqua Marine Partners strive to achieve. With an $8 million boathouse to store boats on land, Hidden Harbour can withstand winds from a Category 4 hurricane. The staff at the marina, skilled in event planning, often hosts dockside parties.

Boaters at Mr. Sturner's marinas enjoy many benefits more frequently associated with club membership than with a traditional storage rental. Services at his marinas include on-site mechanics, detailers, and easy access to gas and diesel fuel. Boaters can also purchase provisions at a supply store or take advantage of such features as laundry areas, showers, and dining facilities. These properties reflect Andrew Sturner's larger goal of expanding the services offered by dry slip storage facilities into more than just places where individuals park their boats. With the aim of promoting community involvement in and appreciation of such businesses, his Lazy Days Marina property, on Georgia's Lake Sidney Lanier, recently hosted a National Marina Celebration that invited civic leaders and nearby residents out for a day of fun.

Andrew Sturner's own local involvements include serving on the Board of Trustees for Temple Sinai of North Dade, a reform congregation in North Palm Beach, Florida. He is a member of the Miami chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization, a global network of young executives. Additionally, Mr. Sturner sits on the Board of Directors for the Miami-based company Third Solutions, a paperless receipt aggregator.
