He is also co-founder of It Helps To Play, LLC, makers of The Tooth Brigade.
Prior to these positions, Andy was a senior vice president and Executive Creative Director at The Martin Agency in Richmond Virginia.
Andy began his career in advertising as an art director in Georgia and North Carolina. His work for North Carolina Travel and Tourism, Verbatim garnered many awards as well as the attention of Fallon in Minneapolis.
While at Fallon, Andy worked on national accounts such as BMW, Nikon, Miller,Timex and Lee Jeans. He then joined Goodby, Silverstein and Partners in San Francisco where he worked on E*TRADE, Budweiser, The Wall Street Journal and Discover Card.
In 2001, Andy joined McCann Erickson as a senior vice president, group creative director for the Microsoft account. He was part of the team responsible in re-setting Microsoft’s image with the Your Potential Our Passion campaign.
In 2004, Andy returned to the east to work at The Martin Agency as a senior vice president, group creative director. He has overseen accounts such as UPS, Pizza Hut, Manpower, Experian, Exxon, Purina, Land O' Lakes, Kraft. He has also contributed to the agency’s Walmart work. Andy’s work has been recognized by Cannes, Communication Arts, The One Show and the CLIOs, well as several other award shows. Andy has sat on the board of The One Club, and is still actively involved in the organization.
