Andy Hay

I'm a developer and designer living in New York City.

Starting with Basic at 8 years old, I was plugging my dad's TRS-80 color computer (ironically) into a black-and-white TV, taking crash courses in programming. I graduated to ANSI animations on an Apple ][e in the late 80's, and co-ran a multi-node BBS with my best friend in high school.

It only makes sense that later in life I'd spend a lot of time in front of a screen. :)

I love user experience and UI design, and my coding strengths are in CSS3, HTML5 and jQuery. I also dabble in MVC frameworks using PHP5 and MYSQL.

In my spare time, I'm illustrating a children's book about a monster whose socks grow on trees.
