For the past 4 years I have been a Principal Engineer at Blue Medora and now observIQ, building software that gathers metrics and logs from datacenters around the world.

Before that I was building collaboration software for business and as the Principal Engineer at Traction Software, Inc.

I started writing software on a TRS-80 and then an Apple II+. I have used some flavor of Unix for the past 18 years. I am currently using a Mac.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and have a Math-Computer Science degree from Brown University. After 7 years in NYC, I am now living in Grand Rapids, Michigan and enjoy being outdoors biking, hiking, and skiing.
