Angela Valles VVWRA

Angela Valles serves the Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority (VVWRA) in her capacity as director of finance. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Public Information and Information Technology Departments and managing investment assets valued at nearly $1 million. At VVWRA, Angela Valles also carries out beneficial change targeted to the internal culture, as well as the organization's operating values.

Before accepting her current position, Angela Valles worked as facility director with the Victor Valley Medium Community Correction Facility, where she functioned as prison warden. Over her seven-year tenure, she performed duties ranging from training staff members to maintaining safety. In recognition of her effort and dedication, she earned a Certificate of Appreciation.

In her private life, Valles stays active through such outdoor activities as boating and swimming. She is involved in her wider community through such groups as the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers, the Government Finance Officers Association, and the California Wastewater Environment Association.
