Ankel Ishikawa has a Entertainment Business Master's Degree from Full Sail University, where she graduated as the Salutatorian of her class and received Course Director Awards in Media Publishing and Distribution, and Final Business Plan.

Ankel worked as the Event and Logistics Manager for the International Photography Competition "Visual Voice Under 18" in 2011 where she assisted negotiate and secured sponsorship deals with Canon, Nikon, Apple Fujifilm, FujiXerox, which also resulted in the acquisition of iPads, Canon and Nikon cameras and various photography equipment.

Ankel has also worked with North American and Japanese advertising companies including Pyramid Films, Saiplus, Team One USA a division of Saatchi & Saatchi, North America Inc.and M Company Inc. where she worked closely with brands such as Dove, Toyota and Lexus.

In 2007, she was awarded the Advertising Council Japan Student Award followed by the NUAS Zemiten Award in 2009 and has also received several photography awards.

Ankel is fluent in Japanese, English and Spanish.
