Vancouver, b.c. Canada

Annabelle Choi is a designer, professional cook, pastry chef, and creative food consultant. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, with a special interest in humanitarian relief projects and aid supporting objects, as well as a culinary degree from Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland. She spends her time asking questions that pertain to the need of an object and the symbiotic relationship between food, art, and design, while designing and cooking for a living, breathing world. Likewise, her projects are experimental, honest, and thought provoking.

You can usually find her in a local coffee shop, chatting up strangers and friends alike, or gallivanting around the city and suburbs looking for fresh local produce from farmer markets, or hiking up the next epic trail that hasn't been discovered yet.

Currently living in Vancouver upon her return from residing in London UK, Dublin Ireland, and San Francisco California, Annabelle has worked in quality and innovative kitchens such as Craftsman & Wolves, a contemporary patisserie located in the heart of the Mission district in San Francisco, and Matchstick Coffee Roasters in Vancouver CAN. She continues to work on opportunities and collaborations with other like-minded trans-disciplinary industries and socially conscious clients, as she continues her culinary education and foraging in a world where food becomes the medium, and relationships, people, and story-telling continue to be the inspiration.
