Anton Van Dellen

Anton van Dellen, Ph.D. is an accomplished medical professional with a distinctive research background in the field of Neurophysiology. Early in his career, he gained diverse medical experience while serving as a Medical Officer in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Natal and Wentworth Hospital in Durban, South Africa. Anton van Dellen more recently achieved leadership positions at the University of Oxford, including Medical Research Council member at the University Laboratory of Physiology and Fellow at Christ Church.

Peer-reviewed researched articles by Dr. Anton van Dellen have appeared in the Journal of Neuroscience, Neuroreport, Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology, and elsewhere. He has also delivered lectures before a number of professional organizations, including the Anatomical Society Congress, the World Congress on Trauma, and the Society for Neuroscience.

Beyond his work as a Neurophysiologist, Anton van Dellen recently transitioned into the legal field. He currently serves as a Consultant Lawyer with the firm Ennon and Co. Solicitors, in Finsbury Park, United Kingdom. His contributions to the firm include helping to settle a number of large civil claims. Concurrently, Anton van Dellen volunteers in London as a Caseworker for Z2K, a charity championing justice for the poor. He is also engaged in writing a tribunal representation guide for Z2K.

Anton van Dellen studied at Christ Church, the University of Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar, completing his Doctor of Philosophy in Neurophysiology in 2003. His academic history also includes earning a Bachelor of Medicine at the Medical School of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. van Dellen enjoys spending his free time traveling, hiking, and flying.
