With a Master’s degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University, Antranig Dereyan has experience as a copy, managing and social media editor. He covered the celebrity, community, healthcare, religion, sports and travel beats in the digital, print, social media and television industries. He also does copy editing, creative writing, copywriting, marketing and PR.

In his latest position as Communications Specialist for HearingLife, he was responsible for all internal and external communications, including copy editing, copywriting, journalistic, quality assurance documents, marketing and PR.

He was also a writer and Editor At Larger at travelerstoday.com, where he had the responsibility of writing travel guides, using his personal travels as research, and trending news pieces. However, as the managing and social media editor, he had the duty of elevating the standards of the site by maintaining appropriate SEO practices, employing multimedia and blogging skills to enhance the story’s visibility, posting stories to social media sites--responding and engaging user reactions to gain a wider-traffic range and ensuring that the content on the CMS-controlled web portal was accurate and meaningful.

In addition, he spent time at NJ Advanced Media as a copy editor, East West Connection, doing event planning and two years as media liaison at the US. Tennis Open, where he was an intricate part in not only keeping the national and international media informed on updated tournament brackets, player statistics, rescheduled rain delay match times and when match play would resume, but also obtaining player interviews and helping the PR department in promoting USTA fan promotions, sponsor giveaways, player appearances and book signings.

As a journalist, he uses his talent and english-vocabulary expertise to bring the written word to life and make deep connections with his readership.
