I am Ara. My name means 'Wonder' or 'Mystery' . I am an Entertainer. Singer, drummer and dancer. I am Africa's first female talking drummer. I started drumming and singing at the age of 5. The talking drum was first a means of communication centuries ago, then later became a musical instrument. It has been sole preserve of men until I picked it up over 15 years ago. It's the major musical instrument of the yoruba people of west africa.

I have performed before the Queen of England, recorded on Stevie Wonder's last album tiltled " A time to Love" performed in Canada, UK, and over 5 states in the USA and Africa.I am presently looking forward to taking my music to the world, am looking for an excellent management company as well as record label.

Overtime I have performed alongside Grammy Award winning group, All for One, Wyclef Jean, Wesley Snipes, angelique kidjo, King Sunny Ade, Femi Kuti and more African stars.
