As a professional with over 14 years of development experience and 15 years of teaching tech courses in a school setting, I am passionate about learning, growing, and helping others while solving complex problems. With a Master of Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University, a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems from Tarleton State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Virginia Tech, I have a solid foundation in both education and technology.

My skillset includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, PHP, SQL, NOSQL, GIT, SVN, Python, Jira, Docker, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and Mongo DB. I have worked as a Software Engineer/Instructor, where I provided meaningful feedback on code and researched emerging technologies. I also facilitated lessons and led classroom discussions, provided coaching and mentorship to students, and collaborated with the instructional team to refine course content and curriculum.

In my previous roles as an Instructor and Adjunct Faculty, I designed and delivered highly engaging learning experiences, observed and managed learner progress, and established an Academy of Information Technology that received the highest rating of Distinguished in its first year. Additionally, I have experience as a Web Developer, where I managed and executed multiple projects simultaneously, collaborated with clients to establish problem specifications and system designs, and communicated project progress updates.

I hold several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Certified Secure Software Engineer – Associate, IT Specialist – Python, MTA: Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS, Computer Science, Business Education, and Technology Applications. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive impact through my skills and experience.
