Arjana Blazic

Arjana Blazic is a 2014-15 Hubert H. Fellow at Penn State University, USA. She is an English and German teacher at IX. gimnazija in Zagreb, eTwinning & Glogster ambassador, Microsoft Innovative Educator & Teacher Trainer, Intel Master Teacher and iTDi Associate. She speaks at conferences and leads workshops, Twitter chats and webinars. She has designed and led a number of online eTwinning learning events. She is co-founder of Etwion, educational discussions on Twitter. She has organized and hosted Teachmeets and Studentsmeets. Arjana is the author of the award-winning wiki Greetings from the world, which connects teachers and students from across six continents. She is co-founder of the OER portal Moja matura, which enables secondary students from all over Croatia to access free interactive exam preparation materials for their standardized school-leaving exams. She is an avid user of web 2.0 technologies and a lifelong learner with a strong passion for travel. One of her major goals is to teach her students how to take advantage of all the possibilities that technology-enhanced learning can offer. She is a BYOD and m-learning supporter.
