Arkady Panchernikov

Born in Kharkov, Ukraine, Arkady Panchernikov spent his childhood playing tennis and soccer, skiing, wrestling, and engaging in other sports. As a secondary school student, Panchernikov proved his skills in mathematics and history, earning admittance to the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. Following his graduation from this university, Arkady Panchernikov accepted the position of Engineer with IBM in the United States. Following his tenure with the international computer conglomerate, Panchernikov began his career as an entrepreneur. One of his companies assisted with the innovation of touch screen technology, and he aided in patenting software. Another of Arkady Panchernikov's firms provided food and drinks to airlines, restaurants, and hotels. Today, Arkady Panchernikov occupies his time focusing on his personal interests while his eldest son runs his businesses. A world traveler, Panchernikov is currently taking classes towards a pilot's license. A resident of New York City, he belongs to the Helderberg Bernese Mountain Dog Club of New York, the New York Athletic Club, the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) Federation of New York, the Brooklyn Smallbore Rifle Club, and the Brooklyn Chess Club. Fascinated by high performance automobiles, Arkady Panchernikov holds membership in The Maserati Club and the Ferrari Club of America. In charitable endeavors, Panchernikov supports the American Red Cross; the ASPCA (the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals); the Meals on Wheels Association of America; and the Wounded Warriors Project, Inc. To relax, he spends time with his family, boats, exercises, and smokes cigars.
