Arun Panchariya

Arun Panchariya is a businessman of Indian descent and the current Consul General of the Republic of Liberia in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is an established business leader and entrepreneur first in India and then in the Europe, Middle East and Africa, having more than 20 years of experience in various industries such as commodity trading, shipping, textile, manufacturing, investment banking, and other financial services. Today, his business interests are global.

Panchariya is presently an Executive Board Member at the Indo European Business Forum and the Director of the International Business Chamber of Commerce. He also holds leadership positions in Al Brooge Securities LLC and Pan Asia Advisors, Ltd. Panchariya is connected with figures from the highest political and business levels in a number of countries.

At present, Panchariya is focused on his role as the Consulate General of Liberia in Dubai, and his directorship for Al Brooge Securities LLC, a shares and bonds company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In 2010, Panchariya was awarded the AAA Platinum Business Person of the Year Award in the Asian Achievers Awards. In the same year, he was also given the Asian Leadership in Banking award in the Asian Leadership Awards, organized by Asian Who’s Who International.

Arun Panchariya delivered a speech in the recently held West African Investment Forum on behalf of his company Global Finance and Capital Ltd. Together with UEMOA and West African Development Bank, they organized and conducted this forum in Dubai, UAE. They secured $20 billion worth of infrastructure investments in West Africa funded by various UAE private and public entities.
