Building on undergraduate work completed at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, Arya Karamooz is currently pursuing an MBA at LMU. Mr. Karamooz is also involved in a number of entrepreneurial projects and serves as founder and President of the consultancy Eco-Medical Solutions. His firm provides doctors and small businesses with cost-effective office management solutions through the adoption of electronic health records. Arya Karamooz also works as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing with the nightlife-focused website NIGHTTAP.com, as well as the Music Accounting Director with Supperclub Los Angeles. Arya Karamooz pursued a business degree at the University of Miami from 2006 to 2008, focusing on entrepreneurship and Mandarin Chinese. That summer, he undertook an internship with Marcus & Millichap, a real estate investment services firm. As a sales intern, he performed focused research and analysis on potential self-storage investment opportunities. Entering Loyola Marymount University in late 2008, Mr. Karamooz continued to pursue undergraduate studies in business administration. In early 2010, Arya Karamooz completed an internship with International Creative Management’s motion picture literary department. His responsibilities included the preparation of contract documents related to television properties and the review of scripts earmarked for potential production. From March to June 2010, Mr. Karamooz acted as the Marketing Advisor and Social Media Manager for Sparkles Student Laundry in Santa Monica. In this capacity, he developed a plan for the effective promotion of the business, utilizing Internet marketing tools focused on LMU students. Active in sports, Arya Karamooz was captain of the varsity basketball and varsity tennis teams in high school. He continued his sports activities at the University of Miami, where he was captain of the club tennis team. While in Miami, Arya Karamooz also served as the social/philanthropic chair of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity and sat on the board of the Entrepreneurship Club.
