After working for a newspaper in Pennsylvania for five years, Ashley now works as a proposal manager for a construction company based in Broomfield, Colorado. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys trying to conquer ridiculously long books, writing short stories and creative nonfiction, playing roller derby, and tackling the New York Times' Puzzle a Day compendium. She can often be found singing while washing dishes or taking a dance break — call it side effects of high school and summer stock theater.
