Ashley Gunn

I am a current graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at the University of Vermont. I also work as the Leadership Assistant with UVM's Living and Learning Communities. In Fall 2011 I served as practicum student with the Department of Atheletics CHAMPS Life Skills Program and in Spring 2012 was a TA for a service-learning class. I serve as a Senator for my graduate program, Social and Professional Development chair for our programs journal and a member of UVM's Board of Trustess Educational Policy and Institutional Resources Committee. I am preparing for a career in a Higher Education environment where I work to develop campus environements that allow students to have a successful college career. My current philosophy and future prospects are continuously evolving as I engage in my higher education experience. I am currently interested in enrollment management, positive racial climates, higher education access and academic preperation for higher ed.

I am a PROUD owner of an American black and tan coonhound mix who is the joy of my life. I currently spend any spare time I have (ha!) enjoying Burlington, laughing with friends, traveling, learning to embrace the winter and spoiling my dog.
